Studio Arts Boulder is a non-profit art education organization that provides high-quality ceramics programs at the Boulder Pottery Lab and partners with other studio arts organizations for programs in other mediums. The “studio arts” are those art forms which require a substantial investment in equipment and facilities that is beyond the means of most individuals, such as ceramics, printmaking, woodworking, metal, glass, and fiber.
Special pottery camp at BMoCA
Join Studio Arts Boulder at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art for a very special pottery camp. Discover the colorful geometric patterns created by Clark Richert, BMoCA’s summer exhibiting artist. Students will translate his work into clay creations and explore both wheel-throwing and hand-building. This camp is open to students of all skill levels and includes hands-on assistance to help every camper fulfill their artistic vision. Learn more at BMoCA.org.

Claire McArdle: Terracotta Figurative Sculpture Workshop
Learn Claire McArdle’s gestural, subtractive process and create figurative sculptures using two types of Terracotta clay mined in Tuscany, Italy.
This workshop will take place at McArdle’s studio in rural Boulder, CO. Clay provided.
All Levels: Beginner to advanced. No prior experience in clay needed.
Date & Time: July 20th & 21st - 10:00am to 4:00pm each day
